Known to be an incredibly easy-going succulent family, an Aloe makes a great indoor plant that can also help to purify the air. Because they are succulents, they require very little water and maintenance, therefore, it is a hardy houseplant that thrives best on neglect.

Your Aloe plant will be happiest on a sunny window ledge- which also means, during the summer months you can take this little gem outside where it will most likely reward you with colourful flowers!

The Aloe Vera is known as a natural treatment that is safe for children and adults alike providing help treat minor burns and rashes with the gel found in the leaves.

This desert plant is more often killed by overwatering as under-watering is hard to do- also make sure the plant can drain properly to avoid root rot and reduce watering during the winter months.

Rotate your Aloe Vera every couple of months so you can ensure that it grows evenly. Aloe Vera plants are slow growers, and it takes a lot of time until a small plantlet called Aloe pup reaches a considerable size.
